The hosts were absolutely amazing, giving us fantastic local recommendations like Burleigh pies and Hedgerows ice cream. The wine barrel itself was surprisingly spacious and beautifully furnished. The attached bathroom was spotless and the location was peaceful, with a stream and birdsong. The views of the snow-capped mountains were magical. The outdoor seating area was perfect for enjoying breakfast with the stunning scenery. The minor little touches like a personalized sign and bathrobes made our stay even more special. We wish we had stayed longer and will definitely be returning!

We recently stayed at the Marlborough Wine Barrel Cabins and had an unforgettable experience. The cabins themselves were absolutely beautiful and unlike any accommodation we've ever encountered. The location was peaceful and secluded, providing a tranquil setting for our stay. One of the highlights was the unique outdoor shower, which added a touch of luxury to our daily routine. The attention to detail in the cabin design and the additional features, such as the swing made from a wine barrel, made our stay truly memorable. Although there were some minor drawbacks, like the walk to the shared bathroom and the lack of a small fridge in the room, they were overshadowed by the overall positive experience. our stay was fantastic and we can't wait to return!

The hosts were welcoming and attentive, greeting us upon arrival and providing helpful information. The cabins were cozy and warm, perfect for a cold rainy day.- The location was beautiful and peaceful, ideal for a relaxing break.- The cabin itself was surprisingly spacious, with separate sleeping and living areas.- Amenities such as a TV, kettle, and coffee making gear were provided.- The outside shower stall and handbasin were a unique touch for summer use.- The sensor lights along the path to the bathroom were convenient for navigating at night.
The pathway outside the cabin could be problematic for guests with mobility issues, especially when the stones were slippery after rain. The bathroom, shower, and toilet facilities were located in a separate building, making it slightly inconvenient for quick access.

We had a fantastic time during our stay at the Wine Barrel Cabins. The concept is unique and well executed, with thoughtful touches like the wine cooler. The shared bathroom, accessed from the garden, was spacious and convenient. The peaceful rural setting allowed for great star-gazing on clear nights. One barrel even had a private garden with an outdoor shower, while the other offered stunning views of the hills. Everything was designed to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience, and we would highly recommend staying here.
